Out of humble roots, Niamey based Toumastine began as a group of friends coming together from many regions. The group
released their first album Tahnafet in early 2018 and has not slowed down since.
Toumastine’s music remains rooted in tradition carrying the mesmerizing riffs of Tuareg music, while incorporating modern rock styles with more varied chord progressions.

This album is a true gem for anyone who loves Taureg guitar. I can't believe this is one of the forerunners for the genre, but upon listening it's not a surprise. The complete production is beautiful. The vocals are really excellent, but my favorite aspect is the talent on the guitar, so intriguing & expertly composed
